In response to this report, NOPTA has implemented a series of improvements to NEATS including the redevelopment of the internal NEATS systems. This has laid the foundation for implementing the other recommendations in the report. NOPTA’s 2019 stakeholder survey included follow-up questions on NEATS and the results aligned with the recommendations in the NEATS 2020 report. NOPTA therefore included in its 2020-2023 Strategic Plan, a key priority of “integration of data and technology”. Enhancements to NEATS is a key component of this priority and a new project on the NEATS website rebuild and industry portal upgrades has commenced in 2020.
