2022 Offshore Petroleum Exploration Acreage Release launch webinar.

The Department of Industry is pleased to announce that the 2022 Offshore Petroleum Exploration Acreage Release will be going ahead. Registration is now open to attend the webinar that will launch the release.

The free online event will stream on 24 August 2022 from 1:30pm to 2:30pm AEST. We invite explorers and investors from Australia and overseas to attend.

We will host the webinar in partnership with Geoscience Australia. It will include:

• the Hon Madeleine King MP, Minister for Resources announcing the areas available for bidding
• presentations from Geoscience Australia and the National Offshore Petroleum Titles Administrator (NOPTA).

The department will publish all release area information on our website after the webinar.
