Changes to transfers and dealings

Registration fees under the Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage (Registration Fees) Act 2006 (Registration Fees Act) will be abolished from 1 November 2013 when the Registration Fees Act is repealed. These fees will continue to apply to applications made up to and including 31 October 2013, but will not apply to applications made on and after 1 November 2013 (Refer to 'Fact sheet—Registration fees').
In November 2013 applications for transfers and dealings will become subject to an application fee that will reflect the costs incurred in undertaking NOPTA's relevant work. The updated fee will be included in the 'Schedule of fees' (below) once approved. Titleholders are encouraged to monitor the NOPTA homepage for information in relation to the new fee.
